After completing my associate's degree in sociology, I transferred from Crafton Hills College to Cal State San Bernardino. I recently graduated in spring with my Bachelor of Arts-Sociology from CSUSB and will be attending the University of Redlands in the fall to begin my Masters in school counseling. During my schooling, I worked at a bakery/coffee shop called Drunken Cake Pops LLC. Besides gaining valuable barista experience, I was able to work night markets where I was able to build upon my sales and communication skills. I also began baking and producing products on a distribution schedule as well as organizing each product for night markets. I later began working at Costco Distribution Center where I became certified in equipment such as an electric pallet jack, forklift, and clamp. I also checked the product expiration date and tagged products to help ensure quality products before they reached a Costco warehouse. Finally, I am currently an instructional aide at Scoot Education where I gain hands-on experience in the classroom as well as with younger children where my passion relies. I am hoping to pursue a career where I can impact a child's life through school counseling, whether at the middle or high school level.
