- I work one-on-one with youth with developmental and special needs to adapt camp and after-school experiences by providing coping skills, alternative schedules, and instructional support. With parents, I develop goals, implement behavior intervention plans, and document progress. - I am able to exercise crisis management with children struggling with anger management, trauma, or oppositional defiant disorder. - I have experience working with various developmental, and behavioral disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and ADHD. - During strict virtual school due to Covid-19 restrictions, I helped students of ages ranging from 5-12 in virtual learning, including additional tutoring, technology help, scheduling, and developing stimulating activities.
