Experienced international relations professional and graduate of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Tufts). I have a diverse array of public, private, and nonprofit work experience combined with academic achievement. Public diplomacy is my passion because effective policy communication and people-to-people exchange breaks misperceptions in international relations and contributes to international security. My international relations experience covers 8+ years in the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Senate, Congressional campaigns, international nonprofit, and the private sector. I am also committed to volunteering in my community. From 2020 - 2022 I served as lay leader to Harvard Epworth United Methodist Church through a pandemic and a pastoral transition. At the Fletcher School, I specialized in international security and conflict resolution. I represented my fellow students on the Student Council, co-led the Working Group on Strategic Competition in the Indo-Pacific, and took part in various international dialogues with foreign diplomats. My capstone research centered on domestic challenges in U.S. foreign policy toward China. During my studies at Concordia College I undertook an independent study regarding Russia's 2014 intervention in Crimea and US policy implications, was selected as a delegate to the 56th Air Force Academy Assembly, participated in the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Forum, and culminated my vocal expertise in a Senior recital including works in French, Italian, and Norwegian.
