I have just begun my legal career as a Deputy City Attorney at the San Diego City Attorney's Office. I spent my 2L summer and post-bar internship in the office, where I handled the arraignment/readiness calendar on the record, drafted motions and trial briefs, wrote restitution briefs, and second chaired a trial. As a former collegiate athlete, I welcome the challenges that come with working in such a fast-paced environment. I enjoy the interface that comes with negotiating deals and working closely with my supervising attorneys. During my 2L summer, I also worked in the Civil Division of the San Diego City Attorney's Office, where I conducted legal research, drafted motions, and shadowed attorneys in many different areas of the law. I graduated Cum Laude from the University of San Diego School of Law in May of this year. During law school, I spent my first summer interning at the Alternate Public Defender's Office. During my 2L, I studied abroad at the University of Copenhagen, where I learned, grew, and gained new experiences in diverse countries all throughout Europe. Additionally, I externed for a Federal magistrate judge in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California in my 3L. Throughout law school I was an associate editor for the Journal of Climate and Energy Law, participated on the Mock Trial team, and served as the president of the Environmental Law Society. I have strong oral and written communication skills, as well as logical analysis and analytical reasoning skills. I am very hardworking, organized, and driven.
