Excited about graduating, I plan to build my experience in the field of case management and psychological therapy in order to help others who are in need of services. Also, I hope one day to own a practice or an adoption service for children who need a safe and educational place to reside as they grow into adolescence in hopes of one day being brought in to a welcoming family. I definitely would like to be a part of an organization in the community because I love the aspect of providing the opportunities for the children/adults recognize their full potential. Also, helping others has become a passion for me and really hits home for me because of my experience and background interacting with children with autism, for example my brother and my cousin. Even though we are family while working with them on such a close level as children, I have developed a helping relationship with them where I am like a teacher. I would definitely like to help make a difference in the Charlotte community and broaden my horizons in integrating or working with children that may struggle with intellectual and learning disabilities. On a personal note, it would help me in my life to have such resources to aid my brother and cousin in future development as they grow, as well as helping me to expand to set a plan to achieve my future goals to become a psychologist/ case manager. I feel that I do have a passion for helping others and becoming a voice for those who are in need of services. Everyone deserves a voice and to be ethically served.
