Works with SJE owner to develop and execute digital marketing strategy. Writes and schedules content for social media channels (Facebook and Pinterest) in established brand voice and assists with real-time engagement. Responsible for content creation, editing, and proofreading for SJE blog. Implements SEO strategies to ensure high traffic for blog posts. Writes and develops editorial calendars with input from SJE team. Works with SJE team to create branded graphics for social media using Canva and Adobe Spark Post.

Works closely with Executive Director and Digital Marketing Director to execute digital marketing strategy for OSD. Manages and creates original content for all OSD and 8-Bit Salute social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) using established brand voice. Writes original copy and works with guest authors to create content for OSD blog. Assist Digital Marketing Director with paid search campaigns. Ultimately, I ensure the OSD brand voice and values are represented in all content created and shared.

At CCHT, I assisted in anti-trafficking training development and delivery, program consultation, and project management. I regularly provided training on human trafficking and related issues to multi-disciplinary professionals and community members both in person and online via webinars. In addition, I researched grant opportunities and worked directly with organizations to secure contracts. Once secured, I serve as project manager on all grants and contracts received by CCHT ensuring timelines were followed and reporting occurred monthly. I also planned and coordinated events, programming and educational outreach activities, such as our annual conference. Additionally, I supervised 2 full time and 1 part time staff members. To ensure we are connected to the community, I managed CCHT social media and communication efforts including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, newsletter, and blogs. Research interest areas include domestic minor sex trafficking, anti-trafficking policy/legislation, childhood trauma, youth resiliency factors, and youth mentoring.

In this role, I planned and coordinated community programming and educational outreach activities. I regularly served as a resource and provided presentations for community groups seeking information on human trafficking. Additionally, I managed volunteers and served as a liaison to campus and community partners. As the first full time staff hired by the Executive Director, I was integral in the development of all communications and social media outreach.

I was involved in the development and implementation of communication strategies for YNPN. I acted as the voice of YNPN by managing social media accounts, writing and coordinating blog content, and drafting website and email content sent to the larger chapter network.

Assisted Professors with research and writing scholarly works for publication.

I provided administrative support for five Development Directors responsible for raising funds for the School of Journalism, School of Education, School of Law, and Dole Institute of Politics. Responsibilities included managing each Director’s schedule, booking travel, producing monthly mileage and expense reports, and coordinating gift acknowledgements.

I supported and contributed to the office management of Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins by answering phones, logging constituent correspondence, attending congressional briefings and drafting memos, and providing tours of the US Capitol to visiting constituents,

I had the honor of welcoming new Jayhawks to the world of higher education by engaging new students and assisting in the orientation process. I facilitated student-to-student groups, introduced speakers, and assisted campus representatives when needed. I also assisted in the enrollment lab and small group advising, working one on one with students as they selected classes and determine course of study.

I assisted graduate students in various projects by facilitating research studies, editing study material, and researching study topics.
