From an early age, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in business, inspired by observing my father, a sales professional, and my mother, an accountant, in their respective roles. While both fields intrigued me, I found a particular affinity for sales, which has led me to pursue a degree in marketing.I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing at Wayne State College, with an expected graduation date of May 2026. My involvement on campus includes participation in the Growing Together Career Scholars program, engagement in intramural sports, and membership in the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization (CEO).Upon graduation, I plan to attend flight attendant school, driven by my passion for travel and commitment to serving others. I aim to work as a flight attendant for 2-4 years to explore the world and satisfy my curiosity. After this period, I intend to leverage my marketing degree to transition into a sales or marketing role within a travel agency, where I can combine my interests in planning and sales.I have accumulated valuable work experience over the past few years. I worked as a Barista at Scooters Coffee for three and a half years, where I was known for my reliability and teamwork. During the summer of 2023, I served as a full-time Bank Teller at First State Bank Nebraska in Lincoln and waitressed at Calabria’s, an Italian restaurant in Crete, NE, during evenings and weekends. These roles provided me with a comprehensive understanding of banking operations and the collaborative effort required to run a bank efficiently. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at both establishments and was saddened to leave them to return to school.Currently, I am employed as a bank teller and a bartender in Wayne, NE. At the bank, where I work approximately 30 hours per week, I handle deposits and various transactions, ensuring excellent customer service. As a bartender, I primarily work evenings, serving beverages to patrons and assisting with events in the back room on Thursday nights. Additionally, I am a full-time student, balancing these professional responsibilities with my academic commitments.
