Served with the Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority (SAWPA) on the Disadvantaged Communities Involvement (DCI) Program, a $6.3 million Integrated Regional Water Management (IRWM) grant benefiting the Santa Ana River Watershed [see below]

Co-managed SAWPA's Disadvantaged Communities Involvement (DCI) Program, funded by California Department of Water Resources Integrated Regional Water Management (IRWM) Proposition 1 Grant. Tasks include (but not limited to):• Facilitated disbursement of $2.9 million in technical assistance funds to water-related infrastructure and education projects benefiting underserved and Tribal communities across the Santa Ana Watershed • Coordinated DCI-funded Community Water Internships administered by CSU San Bernardino Water Resources and Policy Initiatives• Assisted in LGC Santa Ana Watershed Ambassador workshops connecting 120+ public officials in San Bernardino, Riverside, and Orange counties with local water management issues• Processed translation requests from local agencies to encourage multilingual dialogue with constituents concerning water

• Managed front desk appointments, incoming calls, and email listservs for Vice President of Student Affairs and Associate Dean for Student Wellness and Success• Organized Dean of Students Office mailings, logistics, and events year-round• Worked alongside interim Title IX Coordinator updating school policies and data• Helped with search teams for new Title IX Coordinator and Case Managers

• Worked with Professor Guillermo Douglass-Jaimes combining geospatial data with community health solutions for informal settlements in Rio de Janeiro and São Gonçalo, Brazil• Measured greenhouse gas emissions from organic strawberry farms in Central Coast with Professor Marc Los Huertos through Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP); worked alongside UC Berkeley’s Kremen summer lab group investigating the effects of crop irrigation and site biodiversity in organic farm output

• Provided support for first-generation and/or low-income first-year students at Pomona College• Created six workshops in a networking series with Pomona Alumni House and Career Development Office to foster professional development for FLI students• Hosted open house nights promoting new FLI Scholars Nest space on campus

• Provided tutoring and college prep mentoring for low-income high school students in San Gabriel Valley
