People make the world go around. After all, the quality of our lives is dependent on the quality of our relationships, so we may as well ensure that we construct healthy and beneficial ones. I believe that we perform at our best when we are heard and understood. As we treat people as the people they are, with needs and emotions as complex as our own, and seek to understand them, we will find that everyone has a story to tell, and something incredible to offer. I have spent a lot of time in classrooms with children, helping them acquire developmental skills and abilities. Working with a teaching team, I developed a sense of teamwork as we worked to create an environment where each child felt valued and was encouraged to blossom. I thrive in environments, such as these, where I can grow, and help others grow as well. Through my experiences, I have developed life-long skills such as problem-solving, leadership, time management, and communication. These skills tie directly in with communication and messaging. Whether visually or verbally, communication is powerful and can persuade an audience to act. I am an undergraduate student at Utah State University. I am majoring in Communication Studies, with a minor in Marketing, as it aligns well with my eventual dream of collaborating with a team to improve the lives of others through communication, messaging, and display.
