I am currently working as a groundwater modeler for West Yost Associates in California. I specialize in working with MODFLOW (via the Groundwater Vistas interface) and other softwares to model the movement of groundwater over a variety of spatial scales, from small sites to entire basins. I have applied these skills to issues of groundwater-surface water interaction, seawater intrusion, and groundwater management. I am also well-versed in hands-on fieldwork, including installation of shallow piezometers and various sensors; oversight of construction of larger monitoring and production systems; and sampling of groundwater, surface water, and soil vapor.
