I am a global historian specializing in the modern history of Southeast Asia, with a focus on the narratives shaping Muslim societies and international politics. As a Lecturer at the State Institute for Islamic Studies Lhokseumawe, Aceh, I engage students in critically reexamining historical narratives and understanding their relevance to contemporary issues.My research delves into Indonesian initiatives to reshape global order from the late 19th to mid-20th century, drawing on my Ph.D. training at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Alongside my academic work, I am also a professional translator, fluent in Acehnese, Indonesian, and English, offering expertise in translating historical texts and contemporary materials
