Production support:· Provide the first point of contact for production on yield, quality and throughput issues.· Provide solutions to identified production problems with particular reference to the day-to-day running of the line.· Analyse production rejects as required to reclaim where possible, identify, and rectify root causes of rejects.· Ensure MRN's.

• Develop and optimize advanced 300mm CVD processes to achieve high yield and quality, productivity improvement as well as cost reduction.
• Interact with tool vendors to develop new hardware, software, and technologies related to process and hardware performance improvements.
• Work with the Cross Functional Team to develop, prioritize & manage projects to reduce defects, improve availability and find solutions to ongoing problems.
• Identify, quantify, and qualify quality cycle time, yield and cost reduction projects
• Provide Leadership in problem analysis and resolution.
• Facilitate and drive global peer groups (Copy Smart Team) to ensure alignment on strategy and roadmap to achieve department objectives.

• Develop and optimize advanced semiconductor processes for manufacturing ICs.
• Drive defect reduction and yield improvement projects.
• Control and maintenance of cutting-edge semiconductor processing equipment.
• Develop equipment maintenance procedures, set up tool qualification criteria and implement monitoring through Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts.
• Develop and manage projects designed to reduce cost, reduce tool measurement variability, improve availability, and find solutions to ongoing problems.
• Train the engineers and technicians for the operation and maintenance of the equipment.Accomplishments

• Lead the transfer programs of manufacturing of advanced semiconductor wafer processing equipments.
• Address and resolve manufacturing issues by communication with Product Management and R & D at Europe/U.S.A.
• Drive the overall cost-reduction program for equipment manufacturing.
• Analyze the Engineering Bill of Materials and create Manufacturing Bill of Materials for new products.
• Create process flow for machine build and identify critical processes.

• Implement continuous improvement programs / activities on equipment to improve tool performances, minimize quality issues and maintenance cost.
• Manage shift technicians manpower allocation and priority planning to support operation needs.
