Production support:· Provide the first point of contact for production on yield, quality and throughput issues.· Provide solutions to identified production problems with particular reference to the day-to-day running of the line.· Analyse production rejects as required to reclaim where possible, identify, and rectify root causes of rejects.· Ensure MRN's, Concessions and Change Notes are processed in a timely manner.Project Work:· Execute projects to maximise production efficiencies on existing production processes to include the selection of appropriate equipment.· Execute projects to review and improve production "indirect" processes e.g. paperwork, bar-coding etc.Point of contact for other departments:· Assist the maintenance and calibration group where necessary to ensure timely repair and calibration of equipment.· Liaise with other appropriate support groups (e.g. D&D, Purchasing) to resolve issues e.g. manufacturability.· Monitor progress of improvement plans and provide feedback to interested parties.Compliance to regulations:· Work with production and engineering to ensure work instructions result in the manufacture of compliant product.· Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is followed.· Ensure all documentation is to quality system.Strategic improvement:· Assist in the development of strategic improvements for production including factory layout.· Review product, process and equipment designs from other departments to ensure they meet production requirements with regard to execution time, maintainability, OH&S, reliability and are adequately documented.

• Develop and optimize advanced 300mm CVD processes to achieve high yield and quality, productivity improvement as well as cost reduction.• Interact with tool vendors to develop new hardware, software, and technologies related to process and hardware performance improvements.• Work with the Cross Functional Team to develop, prioritize & manage projects to reduce defects, improve availability and find solutions to ongoing problems.• Identify, quantify, and qualify quality cycle time, yield and cost reduction projects• Provide Leadership in problem analysis and resolution.• Facilitate and drive global peer groups (Copy Smart Team) to ensure alignment on strategy and roadmap to achieve department objectives.• Training shift engineers/technicians on process control, disposing of nonconformance materials, troubleshooting equipment, process and quality related issues.Accomplishments• Successfully transferred and setup a critical CVD process step (first time in Singapore) in the leading edge 3D NAND technology to Singapore fab in 2014.• SPOT award winner in 2013 for optimizing the CVD Harp process to stabilize the TEOS faster with significant RPT gain for ~9% capacity gain which saved one Tool for USD4 million savings with cycle time improvement by 0.15 days.• SPOT award winner in 2012 for solving arcing problem in Carbon Process and saving USD123k/year for replacing damaged parts.• SPOT award winner in 2011 for improving carbon work station RPT (processing time) by 11% overall by eliminating preheat step in recipe. • Recognition award in 2013 from COST team for optimizing 41 HARP process and improve RPT by 33%, helping F10 to cancel the last HARP tool for USD4 million savings. • Selected as part of the pioneer batch to attend US factory training to startup Singapore factory and setup equipment and manufacturing process (in 2010).• Part of development team to develop and optimize leading edge vertical NAND in US R&D center (in 2014)
