This role rapidly evolved with the client in response to audit findings, and focused on delivering GDPR requirements for the organization’s central service; 130+ teams. Responsibilities included creating and coordinating GDPR evidence, providing GDPR guidance to affected teams, and contributing to audit, risk, and board papers. • Developed an RPA solution which automated the creation of annual management accounts using excel and VBA at a Life Insurance Company, reducing the associated FTE requirement. • Refined process design maps at a General Insurance Company, providing a stronger knowledge base for the chosen software integrator partner. These were delivered as part of a sprint to support the refinement of a project backlog.• Project managed a Solvency II workstream at a Life Insurance Company. This project focused on creating reporting system that allowed the client to calculate their premiums and claims liabilities, in an accurate, and controlled manner, before submission to the PRA. The scope involved a significant data migration effort, which included 10 months of transactional information; approximately 9000 files containing an estimated 170 million records. There was £1.2 million of budgetary impact, and the resources (10 min, 20 peak) included KPMG, and a pool of the client’s technical resources, and provided SMEs. This role involved multiple elements of project management including a Kanban board, daily stand-ups, steerco packs, RAID logs, resource planning, budgetary maintenance, cross workstream dependencies and project plan surgeries.
