I then prepare technical and commercial quotations for bid submission. In this role I serve as a liaison between the customer or sales team and the plant, working with other engineering groups to define equipment configurations and releasing manufacturing orders. In addition I function as a technical expert and provide answers to customer product questions and prepare product presentations for the customers. Additionally I have worked to create tools for use to standardize and simplify the process of cost and margin analysis. As engineering support for the warranty and commissioning team, I support the technicians and customers with the commissioning and subsequent warranty of the product. This includes reviewing GA's, P&ID's, assembly drawings and materials in order to answer questions and address concerns. When an issue is reported I review the design for errors or omissions. If there is an omission I work with procurement and shipping to quote, order, and ship the materials to site.
