About Randall Baker

As a Senior Buyer and Merchandising Professional with experience sourcing more than 4 million unique SKUs annually and contributing $250 million in revenue, my success comes from combining analytics and creativity to develop on-trend product lines that excite consumers and drive sales. Who knew that a Unicorn LED light would drive so much revenue, demanding an entire product line to support it? I live and die by spreadsheets and pivot tables much of the time. The analytical side is balanced by my experience in the corporate buying office, on the selling floor and as a product/vendor sourcing representative, bringing a wide perspective and understanding of how decisions will impact not only consumers but all touchpoints. Developing product lines and the strategy for launch is the “fun” part; negotiating pricing, returns and delivery with domestic and international vendors is critical to ensure the supply-chain side of the business supports the plan. My creativity jumps into play during product development, since fulfilling the wants and desires of consumers is at the heart of the process.
