With over 15 years of experience in the field of conservation, 8 of those years in conservation planning and adaptive management, I'm passionate about finding solutions for people and our planet. I support organizations to design, implement, and evaluate their conservation projects using the Conservation Standards. I have an MSc in Environmental Conservation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and I am proficient in French and Fulah languages. As a Senior Program Officer at FOS, I work with diverse and multicultural teams across the world, especially in francophone Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific, to facilitate conservation projects in both terrestrial and marine ecosystems. I value diversity, equity, and inclusion, and I strive to promote these principles in my work and in the conservation community. In my current role, I leverage my skills in adaptive management, facilitation, and field conservation, to provide technical assistance, training, and coaching to conservation practitioners and organizations. I also collaborate with partners to support the development and use of tools, guidance, and best practices for improving conservation. Additionally, I participate in the Conservation Measures Partnership, a global network of conservation organizations that seeks to improve the practice and effectiveness of conservation. I enjoy working on challenging and innovative projects that have a positive impact on biodiversity and human wellbeing, and that contribute to climate mitigation and adaptation.
