I help owners of service businesses make more passive income through business process projects and coaching. Examples of operations projects I have completed for clients:•Developing business communication tools, such as flow charts and organizational charts•Utilizing flow charts to identify specific areas to improve operational efficiency•Developing plans to improve operational efficiency for specific parts of the process•Simplifying and standardizing processes•Evaluating, selecting, and implementing the best project management software or CRM for your specific business•Identifying KPIs and developing systems to regularly evaluate KPIs•Strategic planning, especially during transitions or rapid growth•Facilitating team "Lean Business Canvas" planning sessions•Communicating complex processes simply for clients, investors, or internal purposes

General management, with an emphasis in improving internal processes/operations.Some operations projects included:•Fully implementing new project management app•Documenting systems, processes, organizational structure and job descriptions•Developing and documenting training processes and procedures•Creating spreadsheets to track KPIs and standardizing meeting agendas to included referencing these spreadsheets, so that KPIs remain updated and tracked weekly•Provided prompt customer service and maintained communication with each client as the primary point of contact

Co-taught FACS 2011, Introduction to Social Entrepreneurship, with Daniel McBrayer. This course was designed to target students interested in creating and growing their own social enterprise. We focused on the basics of entrepreneurship, with an emphasis in social entrepreneurship. This course was a part of the interdisciplinary Entrepreneurship Certificate at UGA.Course Objectives:•Define social entrepreneurship and explain the social entrepreneurial process, the necessary mindset, and the role it plays in society.•Identify the ways individuals discover and create social enterprise opportunities.•Identify and discuss social entrepreneurial opportunities from emerging trends and issues.•Investigate different funding mechanisms for social enterprise in the public, non-profit, and for-profit sectors.•Complete a proposal or business plan for a social entrepreneurship venture.

Venn Collective is a team of Business Solutions Specialists. They design and develop solutions to make their clients money. Examples of some of these creative solutions include: branding, re-branding, website development, software development, app development, etc.In my Operations role, I was tasked with the responsibility of helping Venn Collective and our clients improve the efficiency of their systems to prepare for growth.Examples of tasks I worked on for Venn Collective included:•Creating plans for project management of multiple overlapping projects•Evaluating, selecting, and implementing project management software •Developing tools to communicate the complexity of the creative process in a tangible way (see examples attached)•Collaborating on proposals and other written literature to communicate the value Venn Collective brings to its clients•Consulting with clients to improve efficiency of their processes

•Coached CEO/CTO in writing a business plan for this computer training/programming business during Summer of 2012, and provided evaluation and recommendations for improving effectiveness of the business plan during the Summer of 2013•Implemented processes for organizing financial systems, including expense, salary, and petty cash systems•Developed plan for training management that included time frame for increasing responsibilities, staff development, and processes for employee leave/ vacation time•Drafted business plan and brainstormed various marketing approaches for an upcoming website launch•Created spreadsheet to organize advertising research to assist CEO in making an informed decision about which newspaper to advertise in, which resulted in scheduling 95 interviews for the training program•Spent 82 hours participating in formal language learning of the local dialect of Bengali over both summers

•Managed a $13,000 budget that encompassed instructor honorariums and expenses, coordinator honorariums, grader fees, accreditation fees, hospitality, special events, literature, and materials•Coordinated all logistics for this class of ~68 students that involved 15 different instructors the spring of 2012 and spring of 2013•Recruited team of 10-15 volunteers and offered training, guidance, and oversight in all aspects of class production including finance, hospitality, marketing, recruitment of students, alumni relations, etc.
