I headed up monthly showcase events which would feature performances from emerging rappers, singers and spoken word artists•Searching for artists and liaising with management or record labels to make arrangements for live bookings and performance slots•Devising new strategies to drive customers to the venue and implementing promotional campaigns for various live events at the bar.•Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted events listing websites•Collating data from everyone who attended events to build an extensive database of customers and artists etc.
