As Turkey’s first advertising agency to specialize in financial communications, Finar embarked upon its journey in 1994 by entering into a partnership with the London-based multinational Lloyd Northover Citigate. We started off under the name Finar Lloyd Northover Citigate (FLNC), designating our core business as the publication of annual reports. Until that time, annual reports in Turkey were designed by companies either in-house or in collaboration with advertising agencies. Our operation, initially centered on delivering turnkey annual reports to clients, quickly expanded to include corporate/brand identity, IPO communication, and other branding tools, as we steadily expanded our capabilities. We rank among the world’s leading reporting agencies.Although we separated from Lloyd Northover Citigate following its IPO in 2000, we continued to collaborate with this leading company, which significantly contributed to our founding, to seize various business opportunities. After this critical turning point in our corporate history, we issued numerous annual reports that sent ripples across the global investor relations community, culminating in Turkey’s very first “World’s Best Annual Report” award, with our Annual Report 2010 for TAV Airports. In 2014, the ARC selection committee designated us as the “World’s Best Reporting Agency.”Branding and brand identity are two of our core business capabilities. Finar excels in branding as well. We have gone from strength to strength in developing corporate brands as well as consumer brands. We have crafted corporate brand identities for leading companies such as ABAnk, İşbank, VakıfBank, İş Investment, Gedik Investment, Akiş REIT, Torunlar REIT, Vakıf Pension and Türk Telekom. Most recently, we developed the brand identity of İGA, which is engaged in constructing and operating the Istanbul New Airport. We continue to execute all the branding efforts for İGA as it constructs one of the largest airports in the world.
