I have worked with Coventry City Council, and then Whitefriars. The posts I have held include, Customer Services Assistant, Customer Services Officer, Rent Officer, Housing Officer, Estate Officer, Service Manger, Area Services Manager, and currently Neighbourhood Services Manager.I studied at Coventry University and gained a 2.1 in Social Welfare, I have completed the CIH Level 5 in Housing Management. I have worked in housing for almost 19 years, and currently manage around 9'000 properties, as well as being involved in tenancy management, I am also involved in repairs, property services, and complaints. over the years I have completed a number of course and gained qualifications in things such as ISOH, Mediation, Safeguarding amongst others. I have dealt with a number of staffing matters, and have been involved with the recruitment of prospective employees across a number of departments within housing, as well as interviewing contractors for million pound contracts. I have been involved in gas safety, fire safety and asbestos matters, as well as a comprehensive understanding of repairs within the realm of social housing.
