At the age of 28, I was the youngest business head, a position I had traded for a comfy strategist position. I had earned the position by challenging the status quo and presenting to the board the future of broadband and my roadmap to move the 10 year loss making business to the road to profitability within a span of 10 months.But there was one thing missing in my life: "The ability to act upon my dream to the fullest”That's when my entrepreneurship journey kickstarted.I've been in business for a decade and still have the same excitement.People call me “Visionary” :-In the era when buffering was the new normal, I founded a broadband company that provided 10 Mbps to households.-After studying data consumption patterns and video streaming adoption, I realised that OTT will quickly become the new normal.It's always been said that you should make a product for yourself, and Frenzi was created to solve an issue I had while looking for a "Home Alone" movie to watch with my 7-year-old kid.With 15 years in the media industry, I quickly recognised the problem statement and the solution that could not only fix the immediate situation but also serve a larger vision, namely "bringing people closer via cinema."Therefore we launched our app in 2021.And bang ! We had 1 million+ downloads of our app, with some very exciting retention and engagement numbers within a year of launching it. We were able to secure funding from several well-known investors who shared our vision and gave our ideas wings.What drives me?Cinema brings and unites individuals on various levels with a full realm of expression of beautiful human complexity.Among the many things that separate us, film, usually known as "poor man's art," brings us together.Cinema is, in my opinion, one of the most effective conversation starters.A few things about me:-I love playing Badminton-I have 10,000 hours of movie viewing to prove that I am an outlier.-You'll typically find me binge-watching with my wife and kids on weekends while enjoying some good movie/ web series with good food: A big-time foodie!Thank you for reading till here!If you are looking to invest in companies that are promising, you can bet on me.
