My career spans four phases across Europe and North America.The first phase began soon after finishing my bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in India, I moved to Norway to work as a junior Engineer designing process piping for the Oil Platforms in the North Sea. Considering my long standing relationship with the English language, i moved to Canada to join Texaco as their Mechanical Process Engineer and Rotating Equipment Specialist.Phase 2 began when I switched to food processing technology using the same principles but now in edible oils and fats instead of hydrocarbons. With big changes in the oil industry I gravitated to applications engineering and design into the environmental and pollution control business. There I learnt how to sell large Industrial Equipment such as shot blast machines, dust collectors and pollution control devices.Phase 3 started with my acquring an MBA in finance and working in Management Consulting using my linguistic and interpersonal skills working with Fortune 400 corporations.Phase 4 evolved with my entering the IT industry after a crash course in the SDLC processes involving projects in the Finance sector from the user interface stage to the backend databases. I worked both in the US east and west coasts covering Business Analysis, Project Management, recruiting, sourcing and team building.Currently I shuttle between India and Canada, pursuing my interests in the organic nature of businesses, fostering espirit de corps, interpersonal relationships, teaching people to think for the entity over their own personal narrow interests while fostering altruism, interdependence and passion. This allows me to speak to large gatherings and groups leading seminars and workshops.In the process of travel and work I have acquired a diverse knowledge of cultures in Europe, North America and India. I speak French, some Spanish, Norwegian, some German and speak and understand four Southern indian languages and Hindi,Companies worked with, Texaco Canada, Ingersoll Rand, APV Crepaco, Carborundum Environmental, George S.
