The journey from founding ABS Aircon Engineers in 1996 with my dear friends and co-founders and building the business to collaborate with the Japanese HVAC Giant M/s Fujitsu General Limited in 2018 is a memorable one. Today, ABS Fujitsu General is one of the most sought after MEP contracting companies in India.Back then, we had provide quick, flexible, cost effective and long lasting HVAC Engineering solutions to various market segments like Industrial, Pharma, Commercial spaces, healthcare, Hospitality and IT & ITES workplaces among others. All of this when the city we grew up in and started up in, Bengaluru was garnering global attention and attaining phenomenal rise as a tech powerhouse of India next only to the Valley.Expanding market horizons by delivering customized solutions to unique market problems and consciously steering ABS towards excellence garnered recognition from global giants. Having handled multiple roles like Purchase & Planning and HR for five crucial years, I’ve learnt a lot while laying the foundation for a strong organization with rich human values.The ethos attracted our collaborators, M/s Fujitsu General Limited in 2018 from Japan who gave us wings to flyand strength to soar.Having successfully completed projects in all cities of India for and a few International corporates afterdiversifying into the MEP sector, ABS Fujitsu General is now a company with an order book of over 500 crores(Nearly USD 70m) in business with over a thousand projects across India to its credit.Being a proud member of our core three member Founder-Directors’ panel which was instrumental in buildingrobust business practices and project management processes across its branches, our methods blended withthe Japanese giant In 2018, ABS became a Subsidiary of Fujitsu General Limited. ABS has also been associated with Industry body ‘Indian Society for Heating, Refrigerating and Air conditioningEngineers’ (ISHRAE), Bengaluru chapter for over a decade, contributing immensely to the constant development of HVAC and MEP domain.With groundbreaking MEP projects in public transportation systems, airlines infrastructure, industrial anddefence sector besides the corporate clientele, ABS Fujitsu is geared up to reach a quarter billion dollars inrevenue in the next five years.With a keen interest in development of human values across the society, I’m a nominated member ofKarnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) having helmed a film project based on entrepreneurship inKannada language, the local language of India’s Startup capital, Bengaluru.
