Currently Head Strategy for a Health Nutrition Group, Prior to this I was heading the Finance, Legal & Procurement functions for Talentedge in Mumbai. Prior to this I was Assistant Vice President– SCM Finance at Bank of America Continuum Solutions (BACS). I handled the SCM Function (Non IT) across three entities (BACS, Countrywide & Merrill Lynch) in Mumbai. Prior to this role I was a part of the Corporate Planning Team, wherein I was responsible for the Plan Rollout for 2008, and the Profitability Reporting for the Knowledge Services Vertical. I joined BACS as a Financial Controller for the Mumbai Location; this role also entailed the Planning activity and the Pricing with the End Customer for the Knowledge Services Center in Mumbai. I started my career with Dresdner Bank AG as a part of my internship, and handled corporate accounts. Later I moved to Desai & Bhagtaney, a professional firm. Post the audit stint, I ventured out to the services industry and joined Stream International, (part of Solectron group). Apart from implementing the Oracle Financials, I was responsible for the preparation of budgets, forecasts and business plans. In this role, I was also responsible to ensure internal controls in place in line with Indian and global accounting norms. Before joining BACS, my previous stint was with WNS Global Services (NYSE Listed Company), the role included ensuring compliance of reports under both Indian and US GAAP, streamlining processes for reporting across global locations. I was a part of the core team which worked on the listing of WNS at NYSE. Throughout my career, I have been involved in structuring MIS setup in areas like receivables management and periodical reporting.I am a graduate of Bombay University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (Indian equivalent of US CPA) in the year 1997 and have an experience in finance roles especially in the service industry for the past 22 years.
