Technical Specialist - Mechanical Engineering
Current• Lead a team of engineers from offshore for executing NPD project activities (Design Changes)• Work with global R&D teams ( SG, China and USA) to maintain alignment on business unit R&D and existing product development road maps and resources. • Drive customer engagement and performance metrics to improve customer satisfaction, timeline, quality and productivity targets• Develop Project Plan, Estimation, Risk Management and other project requirements as per BU specific process • Responsible for key business KPI/Metrics for all projects• Develop master IP landscaping database for electronics components used in Agile system • Work effectively with cross-functional teams during all phases of the stage-gate process • Determined individual roles and responsibilities in team• Build competency with deployment of “Triangle Training's” initiative in the areas of new product introduction, reliability, product cost take-off• Ensure error free deliverables as per BU standards and in line with project schedule.• Prepare project metrics for weekly/Monthly/Quarterly governance calls• M DFMA, GD&T training's to team members.• Mentor and train the team in DFMEA to identify all failure modes pro-actively and worked on necessary corrective actions• Tolerance analysis to ensure fitment of components in assembly.• Standardize the metrics and project reports
