Key Responsibilities:• Daily Revenue Recognition from various sources like Rooms, F&B, Activities etc.,• Thoroughly verify the FP (Function Prospectus) of Residential Events and Day outing sales and analyzing the profit Margin.• Preparation of Financial MIS Dash Boards and presenting the Revenue and Expenditure of the Company on daily, MTD and YTD basis to Management.• Monitoring all kinds of taxes applicable for Hotel Rooms, Banquets, Restaurants, Transportation, and Activities on regular basis.• Assisting to Auditors and reviewing the Audit observations and monitoring the changes done by the respective departments. meeting with the concern department persons for better control.• Forecasting the trends and Analysis for future sales and operating cost.• Analysis the Hotel ARR, Occupancy Ratio and Average No. of. Foot Falls for Future sales projections. • Well Versed in Hotel Software like PMS,POS,S&C and M&M.( IDS, IDPMS, Winwit,Winhms,Shawman)• Checking cover analysis report and ensuring that the data flow is accurate in the financial statement• Balancing Guest Ledger, Deposit Ledger & Package ledger with IScala on a daily basis.• Reconciling the actual recorded revenue for Banquets against the contracted revenue by verifying Banquet Events Orders and preparing a reconciliation report daily.• Daily checking of all the allowances, voids and negative postings of Revenue.• Conducting Cash Audits & Spot Revenue Checks in outlets and Front Office• Auditing Rate Variance Report, Rate Check report, Over credit Limit Report and Negative Postings Report• Checking Complimentary & House Use rooms on a daily basis.• Following up and taking necessary actions on audit discrepancies with Front Office and Food & Beverage teams.• Auditing of General Cashier report and posting Journal vouchers in IScala on daily basis.• Preparing Tax and Service Charges reconciliation.• Auditing the Housekeeping discrepancy report and notifying the department about the same

Maintain a procedure necessary to verify the accuracy of all revenue and adjustment posting.• Review "Rate Segment Report" (Rate Check) to ensure that all occupied rooms have genuine room rate as per Minimum Rate Agreement and that all special rates and complimentary rooms are authenticated and approved.• Audit all outlet reports and tally them with PMS for accuracy. Check that genuine discounts are given.• Audit the banquet functions and ensure the charges are as per banquet event orders.• Control and reconcile the daily sales in the outlets.• Audit the credit card transactions for accuracy. Ensure the POS details summary reports agree with PMS.• Review all rebates and allowances and ensure they are properly authorized and to report all deviations from prevailing policies and procedures.• Post all transactions in the revenue and allowance journal and any adjustments after sales receipts are confirmed.• Verification of all Food and Beverage discounted checks are justified, properly recorded into POS system and to prepare utilization report for Management.• Perform month end closing and ensure that the trial balance agree with general Ledger.• Prepares daily and monthly reports for the management.• Ensure timely preparation and distribution of daily revenue and statistics report.• Maintain proper filing and record retention as per company policies.• Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary.
