Material Scientist with a strong background in multifunctional polymer composite materials and with research focus in filler modified polymer formulation development, dispersion technologies, polymer rheology control, Additive Manufacturing, material characterization and testing. I have worked in R&D projects related to automated fiber placement of carbon fiber prepregs, compression molding of fiber reinforced composites and swelling behavior of carbon nanofiller modified elastomers. I am very passionate about applying fundamental science towards developing novel equipment and material technologies. My research interests: Smart materials & structures, additive manufacturing, formulation development, surface modification, particle stabilization, polymer additives, rheology control, FEM, fracture mechanics and manufacturing process optimization Hands on characterization tools experience: Optical microscopy, SEM, TEM, XRD, TGA, DSC, FTIR spectroscopy, rheometer, mechanical testing (Instron machine), DMA, Coordinate Measuring Machine (Mitutoyo), four point probe, thermtest TPS2500 and SQUID magnetometerCommercial Software package experience: Solidworks, Matlab, Ansys, Minitab, FEMM, Origin, Microsoft excel and PowerPoint
