APIGEE BaaS (Backend as a Service) implementation from APIGEE Corp, which google bought sometime back. Since BaaS is running on AWS, google want to shutdown that replace with googles backend services using GCP(Google Cloud Platform). BAAS is Restful Services cluster for their internal Cassandra Cluster and ElasticSearch Cluster. APIGEE BaaS (Usergrid) is tightly bounded to AWS hence google is retiring that application. Apache usergrid however could be deployed to any cloud or non cloud environments. Main features of Usergrid is to create Organization, Applications, Collections, Entities( anything customer, account, sales, steaming etc. any which can be represented in json), connection , users, roles etc. Which is so generic which can be used by any organization and web applications or mobile apps. Single organization can multiple applications, everything is stored Cassandra as Json. Working on AWS Cloud Services, using OpsOne to monitor, manage the different services for Prod and Non-Prod environment.Working on multiple ElasticSearch Cluster for scaling up/down based on the requirement. Removing outdated hardware moving the elastic search cluster new Auto Scaling Groups. Working on Usergrid cluster on maintenance and moving to Auto Scaling Group. AOS(Apple Online Store) group is the provider of apple.com (apple online store). AOS is a apple cloud echo system services, all the services are deployed in multiple cloud datacenter for each environment. apple.com consists of various micro services application which running as separate process. AOS uses Hazlecast as the caching technology. Solace hardware based messaging solution and lot of home grown micro services which are based on WebObject framework. Working on Hazelcast clusters in various environment, developing monitoring dashboards using Splunk.Working on Data Store as Service (DSS), generic data store service which persists the data using Cassandra and also acts as persist able cache. In a cluster one service put data and the same data will be available in another server. Sams BedrockBedrock is a Walmart labs Enterprise service bus for aggregating partners/vendors Items (inventory) and do the order management with the partner/vendors. This product uses kafka as the message brokers for integrating multiple systems and services, implements services like file watcher, sftp email web service transporter, databases, JMS Queue etc. Works in clustered service setup, we could group the services to create a service set and make them run on a set of service. Which are interact with centralized kafka cluster. Used OneOps cloud to deploy and monitor the application, Nagios are being used to monitor the system resources. PagerDuty is being to alert the support team. Logs from each server will be lifted to the centralized kibana/solr cluster for complex searc through the kibana web interface. ¥ SamsClub existing system study and requirement gathering and analysis to migrate the systems to walmarts Pangea on OneOps cloud platform.¥ Design and implement Inventory flow for aggregating inventories from various vendors to have the latest inventory information and making it visible in SamsClub.com. Messaging as a Service (MaaS) JMS 1.1 and JMS 2.0 Java Messaging Service Specification Implementation to provide queue based point-to-point(PTP) and topic based publish-subscribe messaging. MaaS implements the load balancer, automatic failover, high availability and message distribution using multi node connections and multi datacenter clouds. Single point of failure to any node or datacenter clouds would automatically handled in the MaaS service to use the any other available node so the client messaging infrastructure related concerns are transparent to the application developer. Messaging service provides ability to define the quality of service, persistence and messaging limits etc. for the client so that these policies could be updated or defined by the client at any point like while the application is running. MaaS configuration management is achieved by separating the concern out of the messaging to a separate system which allows to define configuration properties at application environment cloud scope wich WebUI to the management. Alternate configuration is through class path file system based xml file. Cloud level application messaging tracking, monitoring is achieved through the compute level file logging and publishing the logs to the centralized system for consolidation, stats analysis and alerting and notification of the system.MaaS implementation is platform or provider independent and could able to work with ActiveMQ, Tibco, IBM MQ or any other messaging provider. Messaging Admin or Monitoring is done using various tools like Hydra, Nagios, Tibco RT View, Tibco EMS etc. and the Queue provisioning is done through OneOps.
