At this modern energy and mobility company I am leading the product development from concept phase through implementation to piloting and marketizing. My main responsibility is defining the product strategies, leading, teaching, and motivating the R&D team, and coordinating hardware-, firmware-, software- and service design projects by agile methodologies.

We founded the IoT spin-off R&D company of Virgo Systems to develop the urban ecosystem of light electric vehicles and shared economy charging networks. With private and venture capital, accessing several EU grants, and gathering a small but multi-talented professional team I led the startup to the scaleup/marketizing phase which was ended by the COVID-19 pandemic.

My small agency started cooperating as an outsourced designer of Hungary’s major web 2.0 and social network company. We founded a joint venture to be the base camp of innovation and design within the Virgo group. These days Virgo has risen to be one of the most important digital agency players in Hungary by implementation of lean and agile methodologies. These years startup incubation and development of our products became priorities.

After the merger of Virgo Creative and fps agency, instead of general management and digital art direction, I focus on product development consulting. My main fields are product envisioning, lean product development methods, inception techniques, prototyping, product validation, and product experience design.

I was getting involved in the Beachegg story through Virgo System’s startup validation and incubation process. After many consulting, designing, and developing activities we made a joint venture with the client. I was leading product and business development and international validation by coordination of Virgo resources and hardware developer outsources. We exited in 2016 successfully.

After a couple of years of client-side experience, I founded my first creative agency in 2005. We were working on branding, BTL, and web projects of small and medium-sized companies with a creative, multi-talented, and super-efficient team of 5 in a shirttail atmosphere. In this team, I was the brand designer, web designer, DTP operator, copywriter, and illustrator besides my general management and sales responsibilities.

I came here in a crisis when IKEA moved its garden furniture production from Hungary to Malaysia and the 250 employees factory was left behind without product and market. By involving Sopron University in product development we created a National Design Award-winning, export-ready serial product.

The world-famous data-recovery company invested in IoT startup companies before the millennium already. They hired me as an ambitious beginner at the early stage of their „single-chip web server” development. I gained my first hardware experience here. The great Kürt brothers’ influence was determining to my career. They inspired me as professionals, leaders, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists at the same time.

Tokyo, Budapest

With a modest agency background, I started the digital design profession at a Tokyo-based R&D company’s Budapest lab around the dawn of the .com era. I designed graphical user interfaces of custom software, internet-based TV, and early GPS systems with stone-age tools and skills. I gained very important skills and experiences in learning, cooperation, and adaptation when I was depending on my trained, professional, and much smarter colleagues.

In my last year of college, I started my career with copywriting for multinational companies’ brands at a small communication agency. I wrote my thesis about my first own project designing an FMCG campaign. This time „Creative Director” was printed on my business card maybe because I had some interesting ideas even in messages, graphics, and copies. This title is a little bit funny to write down in 2024 concerning that 23-year-old boy, who was me back then.
