CurrentIn teamwork, giving 7/24 on-call duty, I am operating value added telecom service platforms (web/media optimizer, SMS Center/Gateway/HomeRouter, MMS, Voice mail system, WAP gateway, Ringback Tone, location-based service), and related IT platforms (directory server, call data record mediation) .Solving customer complaints regarding the services my team is responsible. Performing fault isolation/reporting/management in cooperation with IT/telecom vendors (Red Hat, Sun/Oracle, IBM/Lenovo, Nokia/Siemens, Ericsson, HP, Bytemobile/Citrix, Cisco, Vodafone Roaming Services).Fixing complex problems affecting either hardware (HW), operating system (OS), application, or database layers. Analyzing IP and SS7 traffic, access and error logs.Monitoring production services, applications (web server/proxy, LDAP directory server, Weblogic/JBoss Java application server). Supervising Solaris 8, 9, 10, 11; Linux (CentOS/Red Hat 6, 7); Windows (Server 2003. 2008); and databases: Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c; MySQL; and high availability (HA) clusters: Oracle DataGuard, Sun Cluster, Veritas.Integrating new platforms and services (including HW/SW deployment/installation/migration, and acceptance testing).Developing monitoring/alarming (SNMP) tools. Creating tools to collect statistical data of the monitored systems. Programming in Perl, and in UNIX scripting languages (Bourne shell, awk, gnuplot). My favorite tool is awk to serve spreadsheet guys.Installing and consolidating test and development systems using Solaris Containers and VMware vSphere technologies. Installing patches for OS and application. Integrating new VMware ESXi hosts with storage systems.Upgrading and replacing faulty HW parts (CPU, DIMM, disk) in blade systems (Sun Blade 6000 both SPARC and x86; IBM BladeCenter/Lenovo Flex x86 servers) and in entry level x86 and SPARC servers (Dell PowerEdge R900, HP DL 380, Sun Fire V120, 280R, V480, V240, V440, T1000, T6320, X4200, X4170, X6270).
