As a full-time logistics coordinator I have responsibility for a wide range of tasks. I handle the purchasing and payment for goods/services on a daily basis while I plan their distribution and track their route. I am independently responsible for the organization of this process and the oversight of optimal warehouse operation in relation to material management issues. This role requires communication in different languages (English, German) as well. Additionally, I am ready to help the management board with advice to their decisions.More specifically: logistical planning of receivables, optimization and screening of material management related tasks, revision of the conformity of supplier and buyer contracts, communication with partners and clients, summarizing incoming requests and information gathering of the stock, scheduling purchases in time, order forwarding, finding sources of procurement, following market reports and needs, proactivity between departments to maintain smooth functioning, administration and claim handling.

Aldi is a market leading retail food chain where I spent a full-time 6 months internship as a Logistics and Economics Intern under the supervision of the shop manager. In this role, I was responsible for the supervision and inspection of the store’s warehouse. In addition, I was preparing daily statements about the position of products. I was entrusted to delegate various duties to my colleges for the daily business. My responsibilities expanded into the management of contacts with the suppliers and the arrangement of orders.
