It leaded many “first experiences” in Italy, as the Strategic Environmental Assessment for the Milan Metropolitan Plan, the Turin Environmental Report, the Milan Agenda 21, the EMAS applied to a Town Council.In 2003 its project of “urban integrated sustainability” for a village in the Riviera reached the achievement of “Sustainable City” from ICLEI and EU (DG Environment), due to the interdisciplinary approach which linked SEA, Planning, EMAS and Environmental Accounting.The Studio participated to the preliminary studies for the SEA European Directive (with the “Joint Research Centre” of the European Community and the “Scientific and Technological Option Assessment” of the European Parliament). In the SEA field it has contributed to define tools and methodologies in more then seventy different experiences.It has worked not only in Italy but also in East Europe, North Africa and Far East.
