I handle the basic care of residents in a nursing facility. I help them with their daily and nightly care, including giving showers, helping them prepare for bed, assisting with the bathroom. For my less mobile residents, I will assist them with dressing, eating, walking, and change their bed pads so they stay dry and comfortable. I also chart things on the residents for each shift in order to let the nurses over me know about any changes in their daily activities.

For this job, I was in charge of the groups of children at the camp when it came to their games and other outdoor activities. I helped them get their daily exercise each day as well as find ways to keep them entertained. I also had to learn how to make adjustments if the games I was supposed to be playing either did not work out or supplies were scarce. I also gained newfound knowledge on children and how their minds work, including the minds of children in underprivileged situations, ones with different levels of learning, and ones in different financial situations than I was used to.
