Emissary Quartet
Founding member and flutist with nationally-touring flute quartet dedicated to innovative performance and education.As Administrator, I contributed to establishing the group as a professional ensemble. Responsibilities included: coordinating logistics for 4-7 day rehearsal and performance tours 2-4 times/year across the U.S.; creating and executing systems for scheduling, registration, and evaluation of educational workshops; co-creating an international Call for Scores competition which garnered 180 submissions from 5 continents; developing budgets, publicity materials, and a development strategy; and writing successful grant applications to national funders.Notable Performances and Projects include: winning a Fromm Foundation Grant from Harvard Univ. for commission, performance, recording of a new work; developing a Young Composers Project in Seattle, with support from Seattle Office of Arts and Culture; performance and teaching residencies at Utah Valley Univ., Iowa State Univ., Univ. of Iowa, Drake Univ., Suzuki Assoc. of Utah; 2016 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition Quarterfinal Round; performances/workshops at National Flute Association Convention, Mid-Atlantic Flute Convention
