I also worked with these teams to advise them on regulatory matters.

• Drafted and negotiated commercial contracts for supply chain, merchandising, marketing, technology, human resources, pharmacy, and finance business teams, including professional service and supply agreements, software licensing agreements, consulting agreements, non-disclosure agreements, HIPAA business associate agreements, and marketing sponsorship agreements. • Designed and implemented the company’s electronic contract management tool, which increased productivity and provided operational transparency for the business.• Designed and built a Sharepoint site that served as a digital reference guide and resource bank for legal and regulatory matters that is used by associates across all departments. • Trained associates on compliance with the company’s bill of authority, formal contracting process, and marketing practices. • Provided legal strategy and advice to senior executives regarding business and regulatory matters affecting business transactions and operations. • Reviewed and maintained company’s privacy policies, HIPAA/HITECH and Business Associate Agreements, and information security agreements.• Liaised with cross function departments such as marketing, merchandising, supply chain, IT, pharmacy, human resources, finance, and risk management to provide analysis on legal issues. • Provided training for internal business partners at the associate and executive levels to improve quality and efficiency in commercial transactions.• Designed the new formal contracting procedures for all U.S. Affiliates of Retail Business Services LLC, including The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company, Giant Food Stores, Peapod, Food Lion, and Hannaford Brothers Company, which led to increased efficiency and transparency.• Managed the Business and Regulatory Law Department’s Google Site.

Worked directly with artists, musicians, and authors to draft and negotiates agreements to sell and license their creations. Provided research and analysis of complex legal issues in the fields of contract drafting, family law, corporate entity filings, partnership agreements, purchase agreements, taxation of corporate entities and individuals, estate planning, and trademark and copyright law.

• Represented clients across the country in hearings in front of the Social Security Administration.• Negotiated settlement terms with clients and the Social Security Administration, conducted discovery through correspondence with clients and medical providers, drafted legal memoranda. • Provided regulatory compliance guidance and impact analysis for business departments. • Launched a training tool that increased productivity throughout the entire legal department.• Drafted new company templates for discovery requests, memoranda of law, medical summaries, and representation agreements for outside counsel.
