Manage two direct reports, covering indirect tax and direct tax respectively, and work extensively with the US based director team.Compliance aspects have included an overhaul of EMEA indirect taxes processes, shaping global transfer pricing policies, and managing relationships with tax authorities in a number of countries.M&A and planning include significant EMEA acquisitions and disposals and implementing associated tax efficient local financing as well as repatriation strategies to the US. Also, advised on JVs and setting up of new operations in the Middle East.A commercially focused approach, with deep understanding of the company's operations have led to strategic decisions being shaped with tax input. Recently obtained a significant tax incentive in Poland which was pivotal to the company's decision setting up a new manufacturing facility in 2016.
