I am responsible to find out exchange places for national and international students, to prepare and sign MOU with those places and interview every students before sending them on exchange program. Further, I am also responsible to coordinate Local Exchange coordinators of five different Local Committees of IAAS and abide with constitution of IAAS Nepal.The IAAS exchange program – ‘ExPro’- exists over 45 years and in this time, more than 20.000 students have been exchanged with IAAS. The IAAS exchange program gives opportunities to all students in Countries, where a recognized local committee of IAAS is active, to do a traineeship (internship) in another country. With ‘ExPro’, you can learn and experience things that cannot be learned out of course books.The IAAS exchange program can be split in three categories:1. The Ceres programInternships on farms2. The Archimedes programInternships related with Education, Research, Engineering, Management.3. IAAS Nepal LC Lamjung organizes different activities to promote local level exchange of knowledge, ideas, and experience. We abide ourselves in the constitution of IAAS World and IAAS Nepal and perform different activities to promote exchange of everything at students level and create future agriculturist. We also work to promote different indigenous local products to national and international level as cardamom in Lamjung.

Karuna Permaculture Farm is Kathmandu based agricultural farm almost in east most Kathmandu. Its prime aim is to create platform for people around the globe to learn different principles and practices in Agricultural. The farm will ultimately convert into “Agri Museum” having replica of all farming practices from around the world. This farm will integrate all locals, create huge employment opportunities and upgrade their livelihood.

The International Association of Students in Agricultural and Related Sciences (IAAS) brings together students around the world that share similar dreams and ideals in agricultural and related sciences. With committees in 50 countries and about 10.000 members we are the largest international student association in our field.Our activities give students the opportunity to learn and experience agriculture on an international level. Next to this we offer students a platform for exchange of experiences, knowledge and ideas among each other. IAAS is a place where students can meet their future colleagues and prepare to become the professionals of 2050.

Youth for Agri Welfare (YFAW) is a youth organization established by young agriculture professionals from IAAS, Lamjung. We work for youth empowerment through various training, workshops, and campaigns in agriculture. We work for creating future leaders through regular mentorship right from the school. Programs focus on handicrafts, hiking, camping, nature conservation and community development. Service activities include adult literacy campaigns, food production, child vaccination and drug abuse education. Relief operations are mobilized during earthquakes, floods, landslides, fires and other natural disasters.
