Perform month-end close process for multiple business entities including booking journal entries, compiling general ledger account reconciliations, reviewing work in process and project costing reports for upwards of 500 projects monthly. Oversee AP processes including entering/coding vendor invoices and employee expenses. Process and approve weekly vendor payments via ACH and check. Work closely with CFO on cash flow forecasting. AR - Set up new customers and utilize D&B reports to assess their credit worthiness, Process invoices to customers exceeding $100M annually - fixed/milestones and T&M billings. Manage collections activities. Process weekly and biweekly payrolls for nine companies which consist of 270+ union and non-union employees. Assist with onboarding of new hires, interviewing and recruiting. Train and supervise the accounting/payroll department and act as a resource to other departments and employees of all levels within the company. Assist ERP manager with the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365. Process certified payroll and lien waivers when required.
