Scott Ballard-Ridley is widely acknowledged for his expertise and energy for ensuring that the patient voice is at the forefront of health and care. During his 13 years as a change leader in the National Health Service, Scott has been at the forefront of many NHS improvement initiatives that have made a difference for thousands of patients and for the staff who care for them.Scott currently utilises both his experience as a patient along with his expertise as a clinician to help guide both clinicians and policy makers in order to achieve better outcomes for services, clinicians and patients alike.Another aspect of Scott’s work is his focus on co-production whether in the health and care sector or in the technology sector where he has used it to great effect to improve the accessibility and useability of large and small scale tools and services to benefit disabled users and ultimately all users.
