Have been experienced in civil engineering since graduating in July 1996, with the bulk of my experience being in the United States as well as in Ireland/UK.I have been heavily involved with onsite construction projects in the New York City and the tri-state area, with a background towards geotechnical procedures such as dynamic compaction, underpinning, soil nailing and various other types of foundational criteria. Such construction projects include shopping malls, warehouses, roads, residential and commerical developments. Recently I have gained some experience in the Middle East and would like to build upon getting more involved on major construction projects in the Gulf region.Specialties: Languages - I speak Irish fairly proficiently and also have a conversational knowledge of German and wish to be fluent one day. At some later date, I would also like to be conservational in a far eastern language such as Chinese Mandrain.International travel - Have been to many places but have particularly enjoyed my time in South America where I visited Brazil and Argentina. I would like to make it back to Brazil at some stage, maybe for the 2014 World Cup.
