Measured mechanical accuracy of assemblies and worked with optical metrology group to corelate assembly accuracy with the optical performance of the system to further refine tolerances before sending the optical designs to production.

    As a part of the Research Engineering department, I am responsible for the opto-mechanical development of a wavefront engineered in-vivo multiphoton microscope. The wavefront engineering is used to enable volumetric imaging via fast-focusing and aberration correction via indirect wavefront sensing. I had ownership of the optomechanical design, and alignment of the microscope. My duties also included characterizing the performance of the microscope and integrating other experimental subsystems, such as an eye-tracking and a visual-stimulus systems.
