I am a Vice-President at Citrix, a business unit of Cloud Software Group in charge of our new developer platform for Cloud-native workloads based on Secure Cloud Development Environments (CDEs). This new component is part of the larger Citrix platform. With my partner Ozrenko Dragic, we have created at Strong Network the first platform for secure CDEs starting in 2020 before being acquired by Citrix in 2024. Our goals have been to provide secure development platform leveraging lightweight virtualization such that we can deliver an optimal developer experience (Oz and I are developers first, security experts second). Before that, I sold my previous start-up, Strong Codes to the US company Snapchat in 2016. I also worked 12 years at IBM, in particular at the Research Division in New York and Tokyo, where I live all my professional life before arriving in Switzerland in 2011. I am active on the Medium publishing platform where I love to write about security, digital life and privacy.
