Responsibilities include fostering sector consensus on environmental action, educating public and patients, promoting climate justice, and advocating for policies that protect human and ecological health.Facilitating the Calgary Roundtable to drive municipal climate solutions. This monthly forum brings Calgary’s environmental organizations together, advancing strategic actions, sharing knowledge, and fostering a network focused on local sustainability and resilience.Supporting campaigns such as Alberta Talks, Drawdown Alberta, and Alberta Beyond Coal. Contributing through deep canvassing, digital and in-person outreach, and managing strategic communications, including social media and website management.Collaborating on organizational strategy by refining values, goals, and communication strategies, strengthening governance, and supporting network revitalization. Managing operational tasks: grant research, AGM planning, organizing retreats, and supporting board functions to further AEN’s mission of a sustainable Alberta.
