Following its inception last year, Sports Day signups reached over 7000 people, with thousands participating on the day. The aim and direction was to create a free day of sport on campus, which was measured successful by the sheer amount of people that were turning up. Smaller clubs like Boxing saw engagement with over 200 people, and larger clubs, like Badminton, having to redirect students away to other sessions due to the number of people that turned up. - Record breaking club engagement with our Pride Week and Trans Awareness Week work. Coordinated with Stonewall for an expedited delivery of Rainbow Laces, due to having sold out of the batch we currently had, and raised almost double the amount for the charity to date from last year. We also saw a packed out room of sport club exec members for our trans-awareness week workshop, led by our Trans student officer.- The largest ever Varsity win in 29 years. We won 55-13 across 36 fixtures, with Warwick gaining 4.2 points for every Coventry point. I coordinated showcase fixtures, ticket sales and all promotional material. The event saw up to 500 spectators at showcase events with more fixtures included than previous years- Extended the Team Warwick campaign to a year-round campaign (previously just a means to promote Varsity ticket sales when it first started in 2015). I successfully launched the Team Warwick Facebook page, which saw engagement from 100% of clubs in its pilot year, managing the content for that on a daily basis, as well as introducing Games/Results of the Week initiatives. As a result, I led and facilitated several workshops over the course of the year, which all students were invited to, so that we could gather feedback to inform our strategy. This ensures that not only are we up to date with the services we provide, but that we continue to be, fundamentally, a membership-led organisation. Show less

These socials would have to be well-organised so that they ran smoothly, as well as inclusive so that any member of the Warwick community felt welcome to come along to them. This role relied heavily on communicating with other sports clubs, and the SU, to create joint socials and larger scale events. Furthermore, I'd often contact companies for deals and offers that we could use within our events. In addition to my role, as a club exec, I organised a team to represent mixed netball in a charity dodgeball tournament, finishing in third place, with none of the team having ever played before (term 2). I also helped collect raffle prizes from businesses in Leamington Spa to use for our annual Awards Dinner, which sold-out. I also organised 2 teams to compete in a 5-a-side tournament run by the Women's Football Club (UWWFC) in term 3. Show less
