Brief the Chief Information Security Officer on high-level reports. Author weekly security reports, trend analysis, and security dashboard for teams needing incident response information on demand. Investigate, resolve, and document alerts related to IDS, SIEM, Wildfire, and other threat intelligent sources. Hire, train, manage, mentor, and orient office personnel and interns. Install and upgrade Palo Alto Firewalls. Audit customer event logs and environments. Perform systems administration testing using Nessus, Nmap, Wireshark, and Kali Linux. • Track follow-up documentation related to IS incident, including Root Cause Analyses (RCAs)/Lessons Learned.• Complete and submit change control request form and present to Change Control Board meeting for approval prior to installing patches.• Provide timely incident updates and ensure all engagement and communication protocols are followed.• Collaborate with Business Information Security/Human Resources leadership teams to launch training utilizing Knowbe4 system.• Analyze phishing emails including email headers, malware, source code, act as a first responder to account/system attacks and compromises to determine threat vectors and provide initial remediation.• Optimize security and reliability by gathering data about compromised PCs and analyzing the information to identify viruses and malware.• Designated participant for the Configuration Change Review Board for the CISO to review and approve Change Requests • Participate in internal mentor-ship programs, interviewing process• Provide technical direction, training and management supervision for Interns
