When I landed my first job at the age of 14, it became clear to me that simple stories would not sum up my life. I quickly learned that my journey upward would be defined by grit accompanied by a strong thirst for knowledge and self-expansion, and I welcomed it with open arms. Along the way, I communicated with many types of people from all over who brought with them many exciting stories and peculiarities. The vastness of the world and its endless possibilities excited me, and I became fascinated with the human mind, behavior, and the art of communication. Armed with passion and curiosity, I pursued my bachelor's in arts - which formed only the tip of the iceberg of my curiosity. My studies revealed many things, particularly that effective communication is key in all areas of life, and if done correctly can help people and businesses avoid and resolve conflicts as well as achieve their goals. After all, effective communication is a core leadership skill crucial for businesses to thrive due to their transactional nature. Determined to explore and hone the skill of communication, I ventured into Financial Advisory due to the client-facing nature of the business. This allowed me to help people achieve their goals by ensuring that they remained protected in times of crisis and communicating effectively the various financial tools they can use. It required empathy and patience, and good presentation skills. Was I any good at it? Let's just say that there was room for improvement. This fantastic opportunity opened my mind to the curious and big world of finance, which now is one of my interests in life. After that, I ventured into entrepreneurship at a sales and marketing firm to further learn and grow the skill of effective selling through effective communication. The learning curve was very steep, and attrition rates were high. Through long hours of practice and trial, I become one of the top sales leaders of the company. How? Because I understood that there is one thing in common with people across walks of life: the desire to be listened to and a known or unknown problem that needs to be solved.
