Project: DBA Support for critical Oracle RAC databases for Stratos Global. Responsibilities:Primary DBA to configure and setup Oracle RAC databases. Implemented Oracle High availability options. Database of version 10.1.0.4.•Created Oracle RAC databases using ASM. Configured on Linux Servers for Oracle 10G RAC installation. Implemented public and private network connections for Linux Red Hat server. Configured the Linux kernel parameters. Installed Oracle 10G RAC. Verified and tested the installation. •Responsible for troubleshooting problems with clusterware. •Implemented efficient backup and recovery procedures using RMAN. Created and tested database recovery plan and documented all the steps. Recovered testdatabases to point in time. Created clones of Oracle 10g and 9i databases using RMAN Duplicate and Create Control File method.•Responsible for troubleshooting problems in replication environment. Created dblinks, materialized view logs and materialized views.
