Working as Factory Manager/ Head Operations (Responsible for Planning , Production, Quality & Maintainence)Company is based in Amritsar and engaged in manufacturing and supply of Home furnishing Products i.e. Mink Blankets ( BRAND-SIGNATURE ) , Quilts, Pillows , Bed Sheets, Velvet Carpets , Floor Carpets ( BCF & Heat Set Quality).Job Resposibilties :PRODUCTION/ MAINTAINENCE • Leading all the Production Teams i.e. Knitting, Printing , finishing , cutting , stitching & packing for Mink Production to increase the efficiency of production.• Oversee a workforce of 400 plus employees in the factory with effective communication, training & development programs for employees.• Standardization of process parameters & calculate lead time for production/breakdown to calculate the actual production efficiency.• Leading the other productions i.e. quilt, pillow, carpets for day to day production planning & control.• Ensuring the work flow from one department to other adhering to standard process parameters.• Ensuring the departmental activities to meet the production deadlines & helping the departments to overcome any breakdown if it is there.• Discuss work schedules with department heads if need to change due to absentism or mechanical breakdown to meet production deadlines• Prepare Daily reports/records for production , efficiency , quality & followup of production plan.• Looking after the complince issues for AIR & WATER. Maintaining the ETP Plant & Boiler standards to meet the compliance requirements.• Leading the maintainence team for routine Pre-ventive maintanance of plant machienery to minimise the production breakdown in peak hours.• Guiding the Production heads for reduction of waste & enhance productivity.• Closely working with HR department for Labour Requirements.• Ensure Safety parameters at all stages of production unit & menter the team to adhere & follow the safety standards & devlop 5S & KAIZEN activities.

Job Responsibilities :-PROJECT / PRODUCTION• Leading team member for the Project planning CAPAX (capital investment planning) and execution, supporting SUMINOE to establish their first plant in india.In the first phase of investment , total budget of the initial project was 38 Cr. • Negotiation and Purchase of textile machienery (Technically and commercially) for the company i.e. Looms, Jacquards, Knitting machines, flame lamination etc. Review of technical specifications of the machienery to be purchased.• AS being Technical Person guiding the design and R&D team for product development and trouble shooting for any quality issues in the production/process.• Responsible for the Production Planning and Control for all the running projects either inhouse or outsourced.• Responsible for the purchase planning and purchase of all the raw material required for the production requirements i.e. Yarn , PU , scrim fabrics etc.• Establishing a healthy working environment for the shop floor team.QUALITY CONTROL & PRODUCTION PRE-LAUNCHING• Head Responisible for Pre-Launching stage for all new Products SOP. Vading the Process, freezing paramters to follow & take care of all initial quality issues by taking correct countermeasure & succcesful launch of new Product SOP. • Head responsible for Quality Planning, Quality Management System & Total Quality Management in the company• Intercting with customer for regular supplies & issues if any in ralates to quality, preparing counter measure & action plan to close the open issues.• Implenting 3C/5S/KAIZEN activities on the production floor and arrange necessary trainings and workshops sessions for skill upgradation and awareness • Establishing healthy/ safe/ team environment on the production floor.• Responsible for developing TS culture and implementing the PFMEA, Control plan, PPAP and other process control documents for continuous improvement in quality and work techniques
