• Investigated surface and groundwater quality and lithology of soil layers in Pagoh area which has considered as new landfill (proposed suitable location according to site features)• Studied mineral paragenesis of ore deposits to estimate sulfide mineral content in waste material, which was approved as a successful method for initial identification of susceptible mine site to generate acid leachate• Screened mine sites according to their sulfide mineral content and dimension of waste materials in order to propose areas for detail investigation. This multi-functional investigation using remote sensing, biodiversity and all available data reduced 100s of mine sites to less than 10 mines for detail investigation.• Conducted site visit, sampling, preservation and analysis according to guidelines for acid mine drainage assessment. (cost effective method by applying judgment sampling in sites with geochemical consideration)• Investigated tailing, waste material and rock sections under optical microscope in order to measure sulfide mineral content and oxidation. Progress of the study was enhanced by implementation of innovative solution to use texture, type and amount of oxidized mineral in evaluation process.• Developed an evaluation index based on geochemistry of surface water, groundwater and soil (recognized as the most effective and accurate method to classify polluted mine sites)• Presented 5 international conference papers on geo-environmental issues of mine operation and remediation plans to mitigate water and soil contamination in mining sites.

• Supervisored AAS, ICP OES, Spark OES and Spectrophotometer labs (managed the testing methods with high quality and according the standards with cost and time efficiency)• Facilitated workshop on water and soil characterization and analysis methods (for undergraduate and graduate students by using their real project samples)• Conducted research on mineral resources and their industrial applications, as executive and manager of industrial projects in investigation, characterization and production.• Analyzed water, soil and materials samples and studied their chemical and phase analysis results (recognized as the most reliable testing and analyzing centre in East Tehran)• Taught geological and Material Engineering courses such as crystallography, Mineral dressing, Mineralogy, Corrosion and Hydrometallurgy• Matched the results of analytical tests by all gathered information, bulk specimen study and instrumental characterization (by taking advantage of relevant softwares, which resulted high accuracy and reliability)

• Operated Atomic Absorption Spectrometer and X-Ray Analysis instruments (samples were prepared before analyzing by different chemical and physical methods like extraction, separation, roasting, reduction and selective dissolution)• Collaborated in groundwater contamination studies (quality assessment of South of Tehran aquifer, monitoring effluents of leather processing factories)• Taught “Geology for Civil Engineers” in different Universities and colleges for 3 years• Facilitated workshop on “Polarizing Optical Microscope”, Geology lab., The School of Civil Eng., IUST
