The object of the project was to produce planting material for the establishment of demonstration of bamboo plantations in Uttaranchal state of India as a network partner in the National Bamboo Mission. Responsibility included to perform all tissue culture and allied activities for micro-propagation of Dendrocalamus asper, green house and nursery management and field plantation.
